Explanation:

The process of digestion in cow is :-

Cow contains 4 chambered stomachs named as Rumen, Reticulum, Omasum and Abomasam.

They quickly swallow the grass and store in Rumen.

Food gets partially digested and is called cud in reticulum.

The partially digested food returns to the mouth in small lumps, the animals chews it and mix with saliva.

Food get into Omasum after digestion to Abomasam.

Nutrients from food are absorbed in Abomasam.
