Where does uplift occur? Where does subsidence occur?

As two tectonic plates collide, usually, the continental plate os folded due to the pressure hence causing uplift. At reverse faults, the compression causes the earth's crust to uplift causing a hanging wall over the footwall. Subsidence also occurs at convergent plate boundaries.

Heya! !

uplifment is done by the action of tectonic plates.

Tectonic plates : EARTH'S CRUST is made up of seven larger plates and few minor plates.

Uplifment occurs on the continent bed and ocean bed when two tectonic plates moved in horizontal direction then one moved other above then uplifment occurs.

Subsisdence caused by convergent plates boundary.
