Gautam become a bagger and went out in to the world to seek enlightenment which concerned the sorrow he had seen.

He wandered for seven years. Finally had sat down under a fig tree. He vowed to stay there until be attained enlightenment.

Thus he became the Buddha, the enlightenment one .
