The Buddha of Bamiyan had two stunning statues of Buddha built in fourth and fifth century which was located in Bamyan of Afghanistan. These were at a height of 2500 meters (8200 feet), on 230 kilometers (140 miles) northwest of Kabul.
Among these, the small statue was built in 507 and in the large statue of 554. It was 35 m (115 ft) and 53 meter (174 ft) height respectively.
