These are also known as coarse grains.
Ragi is very rich in iron, calcium and roughage.
Jowar is the third most important crop in india.
Bajra grows well in sandy soil.
They requires black,loamy, sandy and shallow black soil to grow.
Major millet producing states are:-
Tamil nadu, Karnataka, Sikkim, Andhra pradesh etc....
