Femur is also known as Thigh bone which is located in upper leg.

It is the strongest and longest bone in our body. It is divided into three parts - Proximal, Shaft and Distal.

The femur helps us to walk, run, jump etc. It is the longest part which extends from the hip to the knee.

The two femur bones in our legs acts as pillars. They can not easily fractured. Incase if they're fractured it'll take 4 to 6 months to cure.
