Charminar is located in Hyderabad. It was built by Muhammed Quli Qutb Shahi to celebrate the end of a deadly plague.

Charminar is a monument (mosque) in Hyderabad ,Telangana ,India.

During the reign of quli qutb shah Hyderabad was infected with plague. Many people were dying because of plague. So quli qutb shah prayed to Allah and said he will build a mosque on the very place. Second floor of charminar has a mosque built.
