It stretches over 6000 kms. It is made of stone, soil, sand and brick.
The Great Wall of China is the world's longest man-made structure.
To protect his Qin dynasty, Qin Shi Huang,first emperor of China ordered/started to construct the Great Wall of China.
But before him and after him, the Great Wall of China was built and rebuilt by many dynasties and governments, and by millions of laborers and artisans.
