Originally located in Central Europe Czechoslovakia was a country that encompassed the traditional areas of Moravia, Bohemia and Slovakia. This country survived from October 1918, at the time it announced its freedom from an empire most commonly known as the Austro-Hungarian Empire until 1992. However, this country tranquilly divided into two new nations; the Czech Republic and Slovakia 1st January 1933.
