Fallopian tube is a pair of tubes that carry the egg from ovary to uterus

Each fallopian tube is about 10-12 cm long

Infundibulum is a funnel shaped opening to collect the egg from ovary in the starting of fallopian tube and it has finger like outgrowths called fimbriane which takes egg from ovary to fallopian tube

The fallopian tube is slightly swollen behind the infundibulum that region is called ampulla where the fertilisation happens
