Ganga-Yamuna Plain is located in Western, South-Western Part of Uttar Pradesh State of India. It Includes Meerut, Ghaziabad, Firozabad, etc.This plain has ideal soil for growing cash crop like Sugarcane. Rice, Wheat and other major crops are also grown here.This plain receives good amount of rainfall for growing Cash crops. Ganga river originates from Gangotri Glacier whereas Yamuna River originates from Yamunotri Glacier. Both the rivers meet at the Prayagraj city of Uttar Pradesh.
