Answer:
Magadha kingdom is located in present Bihar and Utter pradesh. Its capital is pataliputra. Now it was not existed. It was destroyed by Maurian kingdom. It gets its name when Chandra gupta maurya defeated the Nanda dynasty which was weakened by the forces of a great king of Greece Alexander. Je appreciated Chandra gupta and gave some of his kingdom which is in India and said to keep the empoe name as Magadha. But slowly Magadha kingdom started abolishing Alexander's army.
