Function :- It protects the wall of the stomach.
Bile juice is produced by the Liver.
Function :-
- Bile salts breaks the fat globules into small globules. This process is known as Emulsification.

Explanation:
- Mucus is a slippery aqueous secretion produced by, and covering, mucous membranes. It is typically produced from cells found in mucous glands, although it may also originate from mixed glands, which contain both serous and mucous epithelial cells. The sites where you can find mucus:
- lining the alveolar sacs and trachea of from your lungs; it provides a moist lining over alveoli so that more O2 can be absorbed.
- lining of your stomach; as the stomach secretes HCL which acidic in nature, it may affect the lining of inner portion of epithelial cells and tissues. Hence mucus is lubricated all over the to prevent damage to stomach's own tissues and cells via acidic HCL.
- In some cases, if your body is facing any acidity or stomach is in bad condition, then you have chances of vomiting -where all the acidic chyme (food + HCL + gastric enzymes ) comes out of your mouth and some times through nostrils as well. During this condition the tissues and cells lining the esophagus (food pipe) can get damaged due to acidic chyme. I such cases a lining of mucus is lubricated ( due to which you fell a salty water and more saliva in your mouth before vomit).
- mucus is also present in your nasal cavity in a small amount to protect the lining of the inner nose and also to trap duct particles to go inside lungs. It also helps in humidifying the air which goes in.
- Bile juice is secreted by the liver. It is a yellowish color fluid. Bile is a fluid that is made and released by the liver and stored in the gallbladder. Bile helps with digestion. It breaks down fats into fatty acids, which can be taken into the body by the digestive tract. The main function of bile juice is :
- To digest the lipid molecules.
- To activate the lipase enzymes.
- Helps to break down the lipid molecules into di-and monoglycerides by the lipase enzymes.
