Where is the centre of mass of a meter stick?

The center of mass of a meter stick is at the exact center. (50 cm from the left hand end). It is supported by a string at the 75 cm position on thestick. When a load of mass of 50 grams and is hanging from the meter stick at the 85 cm position on thestick, the meter stick is at static equilibrium.

50m The centre of mass of a body is more like a place in which the mass of a body apperrs to be concentrated. So for an object like a regular Metre rule it's Centre if mass of its middle that is the 50m mark
