Hey friend,

Question:Where is the digested food absorbed into the blood?
Solution:
Digestion: it is the process of breakdown of complex substances into simpler substances.
Digestion is a complex process which starts from mouth by the action of enzyme salivary amylase.
Which is followed in the stomach by the enzyme pepsin and then the digestion is finally completed in the small intestine by enzymes trypsin and lipase.
They convert the proteins into amino acids, carbohydrates into glucose and fats into fatty acids and glycerol.
The absorption of digested food takes place in small intestine
The surface of the small intestine has many finger like projections called villi and microvilli.
These villi are rich in blood vessels and hence absorb the simple molecules of proteins and carbohydrates and transport to different cells through the process of assimilation.
Fats are absorbed by lacteals in the small intestine.
In this way digested food is reached to different parts of our body through blood.

hi mate,
==> we know that the small intestine has millions of tiny finger-like projections called villi.
==>These villi increase the surface area for more efficient food absorption. that's why
small intestine is designed to have maximum absorption of food.
==>Within these villi, many blood vessels are present that absorb the digested food and carry it to the blood stream.
i hope it helps you.
