Where is the first cut usually made when you dissect a frog?

Use forceps to lift the skin between the hind legs and make a small incision with a scalpel. Continue the cut up the center of the frog's body with scissors, being careful to cut through the skin only.

Use the tweezers to pinch a bit of skin near the thigh, nick the skin with the scissors. Insert the tip of your snips between the skin and the abdominal wall. Cutting to the left to avoid the mid line, cut the skin up to the jaw.
