Lower Town is an unincorporated community in Mono County, California. It is located about 10 miles (16 km) northeast of Bridgeport, at an elevation of 7638 feet (2328 m). Lower Town was part of a string of towns established by Freemasons, others being Middle Town and Upper Town.
