Pratishtha2003: There are three types of meristem. One is located at the top of the plant to increase the length of the plant as they has ability to divide. second is located on the tip where the leaf is attached to the plant so if the leaf breaks so it will grow again an third one is located in the stem of the plant so it can increase the width of the stem.
