When the weather there gets warmer the snow starts to melt and all the basins are filled with the snow-melt water creating the fresh water lakes as there is no pollutant in the snow. Dal Lake and Wular Lake are two fresh water lakes

Answer:

They are found there because in the high altitude of Himalaya there is snow which is present on the top. and when they melt they fill up the big hole which is considered as the lake.
