where of resistance 4 ohm is connected so that its length is half of initial length what will be the new resistance and resistivity

Length is Halved then...Resistance is also halved..

Resistance is directly proportional to Length...

Resistance Is : 2 ohm

So Resistivity = 1/Resistance

so Resistivity = 1/2
