Where should an object be placed in case of a concave lens to form an image of same size as of the object? Show with the help of ray diagram the position and the nature of the image formed.

To obtain an image with the same size as that of the object, the object must be kept at the Centre of Curvature of the lens.

When the object is kept at 2F, the image will be formed at 2F'.

Refer to the attachment for the diagram.

The image so formed will be Real & Inverted.
