Answer:

Given:-

A Concave mirror with focal length 50 cm. and the image should be formed at 25 cm.

To find:-

Distance of object

Solution:-

As we know that,

Mirror Formula=  \frac{1}{u} + \frac{1}{v} = \frac{1}{f}  ----------(1)

putting the values in equation.(1)

-\frac{1}{u} + (- \frac{1}{25}) = -\frac{1}{50}

so,  -\frac{1}{u} = -\frac{1}{50} + \frac{1}{25}

-\frac{1}{u} = \frac{2-1}{50}

-\frac{1}{u} = \frac{1}{50}

∴ u = -50

∴  the object is placed 50 cm. away from the mirror.

Above Solution is the Answer.
