Sun never goes anywhere. It is our Earth which rotate on its axis and causes day and night. And it revolves around the sun and causes seasons. In the night the sun rays don't fall in our hemisphere due to continue rotation of Earth. So there is dark and we called it Night. And in the morning rays begin to fall on our hemisphere so this is called the day.
