a) Human fertilization is the union of a human egg and sperm, usually occurring in the ampulla of the fallopian tube.

b)Implantation is a process in which a developing embryo, moving as a blastocyst through a uterus, makes contact with the uterine wall and remains attached to it until birth. Endometrium (uterus) membrane of female reproductive system helps to adhere developing zygote.

c) The entry of sperm nucleus into the egg cytoplasm will result in the fertilization of the egg, as the nucleus of the egg fuses with the nucleus of the sperm. The resulting cell is then called the zygote. The zygote will start the mitotic division and will divide into two cells. Each one them is called a blastomere. As the zygote moves from the fallopian tube to the uterus, it continues dividing, forming morula and then blastocyst. So, the zygote has now formed the embryo. At the blastocyst stage, the arrival at uterus occurs. The blastocyst attaches itself to the uterine wall and this is called implantation. Implantation confirms the pregnancy.

If no sperm is around to fertilize the egg, it moves through the uterus and disintegrates. The hormone levels go back to normal. The body sheds the thick lining of the uterus, and period starts.
