The 40th edition of the International Annual Desert festival was held in the city of Jaisalmer in Rajasthan.

It was a three day festival that started from 17th February ,2019 and began from the Gadsisar Lake fort.

It comprised of several competitions ranging from turban tying, tug of war to a camel tattoo show organised by the Border Security Force( BSF).
