Explanation:

The old English saying, ‘Where there is a will, there is a way’ means that without determination and will power, one cannot achieve the goal or succeed. For instance, if a student wishes to secure first place in class without any preparation and hard work, they cannot do the same without determination and will power. However, the student can achieve first-class through complete training and hard work.

Will power is a strong driving force that aids you in achieving your goal. Will power defines a strong desire which can defeat impediments and hurdles. Nothing is impossible for a man with great determination and will power, and the sky is no limit. Behind every success story is strong will power accompanied by efforts. Whether it is the conquest of the Moon or the Mount Everest, a strong will power helps achieve success. A determined person accepts difficulties and obstacles as challenges and overcomes them with hard work and efforts. Determination and will power the most important and the primary condition underlying any achievement.

In other words, people willing to take risks will achieve the success of their goals. If you keep dreaming and do nothing to make it, you will face failure and will become incompetent. On the other hand, the one who works hard finds a way to achieve success.

We have many legendary figures who pose who have the country with will power and determination. For instance, Mahatma Gandhi, the father of our nation, is a great example who abides by the proverb. Mahatma Gandhi was determined to free India from the shackles of British Rule, using his will power and success. What motivated Gandhiji to attain freedom for our country? It was his will power to and constant efforts to achieve independence. Despite being physically frail, Gandhiji never gave up his will power. He used Ahimsa(non-violence), as a tool to obtain India’s freedom.

In short, the English phrase ‘ where there is a will there is a way’ teaches one about the fortitude and hard work. If all of us adopt this saying as our motto in life, it will make us better humans and achieve success in life.
