Santosh Yadav was a hardworking and determined personality..she was never a person in her life who liked to be bound by the society being a girl and following the old traditions about there dressing sense etc..she always wore shorts and didn't care about the society.she had a different mindset and wanted to change the same for the other people. Her brothers used to go to the best schools but she was sent to a local govt school(society tradition) even though her father was a rich landlord she did not raise her voice and thought that when it would be the right time,raising her voice at that point of time would be more useful.time came and she was told to marry just like the other girls did but she disagreed and wanted to continue her studies...thinking it as the right time she told her parents that she wanted to study in the same school as her brothers..her demand was ignored and she was told by her parents that they will not pay her fees..but they were shocked when they got their answer from Santosh that she would work part time to pay her fees ...this made her parents pay her fees .....she continued to study and the was sent to a boarding school...from there she always looked at the mountains and the villagers climbing over there...she was always inclined towards those mountains and wanted to climb them...after some time she could not stop herself and started saving money to join the Nehru institute uttarkashi without informing her parents.....she informed them through a letter after joining the institute that she would not be coming for the holidays as she was going for an expedition....time passed and she went on going to expeditions.....then she climbed mount Everest and became the youngest woman to climb the Everest and then scaled it for the second time and became the first woman to climb Everest twice......this proves
