In the story HOW I TAUGHT MY GRANDMOTHER TO READ , the grandmother was illiterate as she never went to school in her childhood . Yet her inability to read the novel kashi yatre motivates her to learn to read and write .It was her strong will power that she succeeded in learning to read and write within a short period of time. So it gives the message that as the grandmother had a strong will power which helped her find her way similarly WHERE THERE IS WILL THERE IS WAY
