This Line " Where there is will there is a way" in the story two gentlemen of verona proves that if we have will in heart to achieve any thing then no body can stop us. like in the story, family of both boys were killed but then also they dont give up. Their sister got tuberculosis of spine then they have to way, first they could run away or second they could challenge that problem. If a man is a gentleman it is not proved by his wealth, fame or outer appearance, it is by their ability and willingness to do work.
In the story two gentleman of Verona, A.J. Cronin tells that when he first met them they were selling wild strawberries, his driver suggested author not to buy from them but the sincere earnest eyes and magnetic personality attracted author that made him but it. The next day he saw them shining shoes. He saw them working so hard, they do jobs 24*7 but never spent a bit on their clothes or food. This made the author so curious to know what they did with the money they earn. And one day when author asked them if he could do something for them, Jacopo burst out and told him to take them to Poleta. Nicola get annoyed but next day they went there. There the author came to know that the two boys were earlier having a comfortable life, their father was a singer and here sister was also practicing to be a singer. But suddenly the war broke out which changed all their life and threw them on street, their father died, they were left hungry for weeks and when they returned they found their sister suffering from tuberculosis of the spine, so they worked hard to earn money to pay for the treatment of her sister.
Also, they were so young but there was a seriousness in their eyes which was beyond their age. They were left poor, hungry but the war doesn't broke their spirit. There was shortage of job in Verona those days but even though they managed to get job to earn money, this shows that where there is a will there is a way.
Hope it helps you !!!!!
