how very true.. where there is a will there is a way. lf you are determined to achieve something you will definitely get it in one way or the other (if u work towards it, of course! ).
with reference to the story, rhe grandmother was desperate to be independent, she was desperate to be literate. she wanted to learn to read and write, come what may. she set a deadline and worked towards her goal. and most important of all, she never gave up. she really justified the statement!
