Quotation marks, also called 'inverted commas', are of two types: single and double. when you actually want to highlight something you use '......' .
for example - India has a 'parliamentary' form of government .
when you want to tell that someone is speaking in a sentence or it is very important we use "..........".
for example - 1) Sumit asked "Do you want tea or coffee ?"
