the first equation of motion v=u+at is used when the final velocity of a body is to be found when the initial velocity,acceleration and time is given.
eg-A bike starts from rest.it moves with an acceleration of 2m/s² for 3seconds.find its final velocity.
Here v=u+at = 0+2×3=6m/s
the second equation of motion s=ut+¹/₂ at²
this equation can be used to find the distance covered by a body if intial velocity,time and acceleration is given.
eg-Find the total distance covered by a body which starts from rest and moves with an acceleration of 5m/s² for 2s.
s=ut+1/2 at² =0×2+1/2(5)(2)²=1/2×5×4=1/2×20=10m/s
the third equation of motion v²=u²+2as
This equation is used to find the final velocity of a body if the initial velocity and acceleration and displacement/distance is given.
eg-Find the velocity of a body which starts from rest and moves with an acceleration of 5m/s² for 100m.
v²=u²+2as
= 0²+2×5×100=1000m
1000m=v²
v=√1000=31.6227≈32m/s
please add as a brainly answer cause i spent a lot of time on this.I hope you understand
