Where were lucy and nithin going

Lucy and Nithin were returning from their school. In their way, they saw a man who was telling something to his dog with whom he was walking. The dog was very faithfully trying to answering the man by barking. This made Lucy remember about Ramana Maharshi who loved animals and birds very dearly.
