Pippi Longstocking (full name Pippilotta Delicatessa Windowshade Mackrelmint Ephraim's Daughter Longstocking (see below); Swedish: Pippi Långstrump [²pɪpːɪ ²lɔŋːstrɵmp], full name Pippilotta Viktualia Rullgardina Krusmynta Efraimsdotter Långstrump) is the main character in an eponymous series of children's books by the Swedish author Astrid Lindgren.
