You can take the temperature under the arm or rectally even in the ear
There are several different types of thermometers available to take a temperature with. A digital thermometer is one of the quickest and accurate thermometers and is able to be found in a wide range of prices. It may be used orally (in the mouth), rectally (in the bottom) or axillary (under the arm). Rectally is used most often in infants that are three months old or younger as they cannot sit still for other methods.
