Your question: Whether the changes have helped to heal the nation from the past and United the people or not.

Answer in my perspective: Should have helped to heal and unite the people but they haven’t.

I am talking about India in this case. India has a spectacular past, vast history, numerous revolts and sacrifices which have given some worst scars and a good present. Since independence, the country has experienced many changes every single day except few things like cast based violence, murders, discrimination, and suicides. People say India has changed a lot while considering its past. Actually, the statement is true in a few cases but not all. Our women and girl children are still facing many cases of abuse and exploitation. Most of the backward class people are still suffering to take a peaceful nap. Literally, there are changes but that doesn’t help to heal the nation’s worst past and unite the people. We bought independence from the whites and just gave them to our politicians and we are still a slave in either way.

Answer:

Ought to have mended and join the general population yet they haven't. I am discussing India for this situation. India has a fabulous past, tremendous history, various revolts and forfeits which have given some most exceedingly awful scars and a decent present.

Since freedom, the nation has encountered numerous progressions each and every day with the exception of couple of things like cast based brutality, murders, separation, and suicides.
