The following are the three early Satyagraha movements organized by Mahatma Gandhi:

1. Champaran Satyagraha: this Satyagraha was organized by Gandhi in Bihar in the year 1916, the main motif of this Satyagraha was to encourage the peasants to fight against the oppressive plantation practice.

2. Kheda Satyagraha: this movement was launched in 1917 in support of the peasants of the Kheda dis-trict of Gujarat, who was not in a position to pay more revenue to the government due to crop failure.  

3. Ahmadabad Satyagraha: organized in 1918, to protest against the British atrocities by the cotton mill workers
