[2] According to our election laws, no party or candidate can bribe or threaten voters to cast votes in its favour. [3] Any party or candidate can not appeal to voters to cast their votes in the name of caste or religion. [4] The party or candidates can not use any of the government resources like vehicles, officials, etc. for election campaigns. [5] No party or candidate can spend more than a fixed amount i.e., f 25 lakhs for a Lok Sabha constituency election and ^ 10 lakhs for a constituency in an Assembly election.
