Nitric Acid does not produce any hydrogen gas when made to react with any metal as this nitric acid is a strong oxidizing agent. This acid oxidises the hydrogen gas to form water h2o.
And the part of the remaining acid gets reduced to any of the nitrogeneous compounds like Dinitro oxide, Nitrogendioxide and Nitrous Oxide.

HNO3 i.e. nitric acid does not produce hydrogen because it oxidised hydrogen to water as it is a strong oxidising agent.
