calcium bicarbonate

When CO2 is passes through the the lime water following reaction take place .. CaCO3+CO2+H2O=Ca(HCO)3(when excess of carbon dioxide is passed through the solution , the turbidity disappears and a clear solution is obtained due to the formation of calcium bicarbonate which is soluble in water)
