The primary alkyl halides follows only SN2 mechanism.
Eg - ethyl chloride.

Generally,  primary alkyl halide undergo SN2 hrdrolysis mechanism because

∅ 1° substrates have little steric hindrance to nucleophilic attack and

∅ 1° carbocations are relatively unstable
