It is non-polar in nature,So it is insoluble in water and soluble in carbon disulphide(CS2).
Cs2 is the allotropic form of sulphur which is stable between 96 to 119 a molecule of monoclinicsulphur consists of 8 sulphur atoms i-e 8gm , but is different from rhombic sulphur in thearrangement of atoms.
