Answer:It is rather difficult to give a generic answer due to the gazillion variety and species of animals, each with it’s own dietary habits. And the size variations in the animals which mean varied dietary requirements.

Elephants probably could qualify as animals which eat the maximum they have a very inefficient digestive system, due to which about 85% of their food is excreted undigested. (which is why elephant dung is so full of fibre, shreds or strands, seeds and nuts), and for this the elephant has to keep on eating most the time.

A large python may be thought to eat a lot when it swallows a large antelope, but that is a one time meal- the reptile will not eat again for several months after that. So large constrictors do not qualify.

Explanation:Pigs have a dubious reputation of eating all the time, hence the common expressions ‘hogging’, ‘pigging out’, ‘snouts in the trough’ and ‘eating like a pig’ etc. They are not necessarily so, it’s just that they are omnivores and grab what they can get at any opportunity.

It is really very difficult to generalize.
