"Separation of powers" came into limelight in 18th century by a French social and political philosopher.

His publication i.e. Spirit of Laws is taken in account as one of great deeds in history of political theory and it inspired the Declaration of Rights of Man and the American Constitution.

Basic principles i.e. separation of powers, checks and balances, Court reviews, democracy, limited government, rule of law, individual rights and responsibilities and Governments approval.
