In order to generate ideas you first gotta be clear about what you really want to write. Any confusion will ruin and affect your writing. In my case I don't really need much hard work while writing something. I just focus on that particular thing that I want to write. You can go on a walk or listen to some relaxing songs or even play games that you love the most. First you gotta bring easiness to your thinking's taking out all of your stress. Remember every famous writers and poets loved to stay lonely cause it's very calming when there's no distractions. Lock up yourself in a empty and silent room or go the park in the evening to write your ideas down.
