The aquatic weeds that have principally influenced the Dal lake are the lily pads.
Dal Lake is situated in Srinagar is a lake established in ‘Jammu and Kashmir’, it is the ‘second biggest lake’ in the Kashmir. It is recognized as the tourist’s spot throughout the time. But recently due to eutrophication and widespread cutting down of trees in its catchment region has directed to the completion of a ‘large number’ of weeds in the sea which has prompted the degeneration of the whole sea and its sources.
