Which are the criteria used in identification of hazardous waste disposal site.

Follow the steps below to decide if your material is a chemical waste, and if it is hazardous or extremely hazardous.

• Individual generators of hazardous waste are responsible for making a hazardous waste determination. Review the Hazardous Waste Determination chart flowchart and the instructions below to make this determination for wastes generated from your work.

If the waste material has a Safety Data Sheet, and you would be reluctant to eat, drink, or wear the material, it is probably a hazardous waste per California regulations.
