Some of the important Rabi crops are wheat, barley, peas, gram, and mustard.

Explanation:

  • These are the most common and infamous type of crops which are predominantly grown in huge parts of India.
  • These parts are, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
  • The increased precipitation which takes place during the winter months because of the temperature cyclones of the west contributes to the successful yield of these crops.
  • Moreover, the growth of these crops skyrocketed after the successful run of green revolution in states like Uttar Pradesh, Haryana & Punjab.
