Answer:

The factors that influence the location of an industry are skilled and unskilled labour, availability of raw material, good infrastructure, government policies of that particular country or state and availability of tertiary services.

(This much points will be enough if it is a 5 marks question, explanation is as follows:- )

Explanation:

# Availability of skilled and unskilled labour:- Labours are the most important components of an industry without them the Industry cannot work. Skilled labours are required for special tasks such as operating machineries, overhauling the equiments and machinery etc. Unskilled labours are required to less technical tasks such as towing the raw materials to the machines, helping the skilled ones etc.

# Availability of Raw material:- Availability of raw material is also one of the major reasons influencing the location of industries. Most of the Industry would like to be placed at the location where the Raw material is available in abundance and is available for most of the hours. The price of the available Raw material also influence to some extent.

#Good infrastructure facilities :- Good infrastructure means good connectivity of roads from the industry to other regions and nearby ports airports and railways, better availability of power such as electricity and coal, good communication facilities etc. They are also very important for the industries.

#Government facilities that favour the industries:- Government incentives such as tax reduction, financial help, betterment of roads and other infrastructure near the industry etc. plays a part from the side of the government that wants to attract industries and MNCs.

#Good availability of the tertiary services:- Tertiary services such as availability of house for the labourers, availablity of health services such as hospitals and doctors, schools and workshops for training and specialization purposes, banks for providing loans and other insurance companies for providing insurance services and etc.
