Atmospheric gases can be liquefied by applying pressure and reducing temperature.
I hope it may help you.

The two ways to liquefy the gases are applying pressure and reduce the temperature.

Explanation:

The gases can be changed to liquid by applying pressure as due to pressure the particles get closer and they change to liquid. Also if the temperature will decrease then the particles lose their energy then the gas will transform to liquid. After cooling they again attracted by their inter-molecular attraction to form liquid from the gaseous state.
